Hello everyone :)
I am Sarah from Germany and I had the privilege to serve at iKhaya LikaBaba for about 11 months. Looking back it was the most amazing time and the start of something new. I am forever grateful that God called and “pushed” me onto that journey!
It was a completely life-changing adventure and I can truly say that I got back more than I could ever have imagined or even given.
Many thanks to everyone at iKhaya and Solid Ground for walking the road with me and making me feel at home. You own a big piece of my heart ♡.

My name is Pauline and I am 20 years old.
I was working at Ikhaya for 11 months to serve the children at IKhaya and our Father in heaven. Looking back at it, it was the best decision I could have ever made in my life so far, I learned so much during my stay.
South Africa has crept its way into my heart and I can’t put into words how grateful I am for the amazing time God gave me.
It really made an impact on my life and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you everyone for welcoming me at IKhaya and into the Solid Ground Family and for always making me feel welcome and at home! :)
