Just Chilling

Getting a little creative to keep the kids happy and busy while beating the heat! A splash pool and a few water games had everyone laughing, playing and most importantly cool.

Baby Stimulation

Using educational equipment, outdoor equipments and books helps increase the concentration span of the babies while exercising their fine and gross motor skills.

Green Fingers

Our kids had a lesson on planting plants, decorating the potted plants and how to take care of your plants. Learining about the many plant and flower varieties has sparked much interest and conversations on gardening.

International Visitors

Nynke and Lotte are visiting us from the Netherlands. They are Psychology students with a passion for children and mental wellness. Having them with us has been fantastic and the children are loving the extra attention, fun and social time together. Their educated input into challenges we face and hearing their perspective is helpful and interesting.

Happy Birthday Spur

Spur celebrated their 55th birthday and invited us to join them for a meal. The outing was a blast, the food terrific and the kids were sad to leave! Thank you Spur, 5 Ways, Empangeni for the lovely treat.

Baking

Baking up a storm! Not only is this a good life skill but it builds self esteem. The children especially enjoy having the opportunity to make and enjoy their own snacks.

Dentist

A trip to the dentist for dental treatments. The kids came home with new toothbrushes and bright smiles! Thank you Desiree for attending to our kids dental health!

Birthday Blessings

Our princess turned 1 and we celebrated her milestone with a cute elephant themed cake, party treats and gifts to show her just how special and loved she is! We love how our friends join us to lavish love and blessing over our kids. Thank you to each person who helped make this day special.

Train the brain

Playing games is such fun and great for social time too. But the biggest spin off is kids are learning skills and exercising their brains!

Dear friends

The last school term of 2022 is well underway and our older kids are gearing up to exams. We are so grateful to have our children attending excellent local schools giving them a good foundation on which to build. Next year we will be considering skills and development courses for our school leavers. We know that education is vital for greater career opportunites, improves health and livelihoods, contributes to social stability and drives long-term economic growth. Would you consider investing in the future of our next generation, through a financial donation? If this resonates with you we would love to engage and see how we could partner with one-another.

Our caregivers and support staff have worked exceptionally hard this year and we are excited to be going on an outing to refresh and regroup as a year end function. Thank you to those who have blessed us financially to cover these costs. Should you wish to contribute to bonuses or a small Christmas parcel we would be so grateful.

Christamas is a little over a month away now and we are so excited to be going out to Bellamia Ranch for the day. Pony rides and exploring all the farm has to offer is going to be a great adventure. We have a few exciting events planned for the summer holidys so do follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the updates.

Thank you again to each sponsor for the contribution you make to our home. From fixing a fridge and buying supplies to financially sowing into our ministry, every gift and gesture is appreciated and plays a part in reaching our dreams. It truly means so much to us to have your backing!

With love from Loressa, staff and kids
