Dear Friends
As we wrap up November, my heart is full. Every moment shared this month, each smile, each small victory, each act of kindness, reminds me why our work matters so deeply. Thank you to everyone who continues to pour love, time, and generosity into our children and our home. Together, we are building something beautiful and making lasting changes in the lives of the young children we are raising.
December will be a time of rest and reflection on the year behind us, and a time to prepare for and set goals for the year ahead. Getting 15 learners ready for school is no small task. Buying stationery and uniforms, wrapping books, and labelling every item is not for the faint-hearted. If you would like to help us kit out our learners, please reach out, as we need to raise R20,000 to cover these costs.
With schools now closed, our holiday program is in full swing with treasure hunts, traditional games, and outings. And even some experiential work experience for our teens as they explore possibilities and opportunities for their future careers! As the Christmas gifts arrive from our generous sponsors, the excitement brews and the countdown to Christmas begin.
Your partnership in helping us meet the daily operational costs of caring for the children is deeply appreciated. We encourage you to spread the word and help us grow our support base so that we can focus on the children rather than on fundraising. Every contribution is a blessing to our mission.
